​Training & Objectives

❖ To be a Level 1 Emergency/Disaster Pet Shelter Volunteer you must:

❖ Be a credentialed member of a recognized Volunteer Organization

❖ Have completed NIMS 700, ICS 100, or a local Volunteer organization approved ICS training

❖ Be aware of the history and types of Emergency/Disaster Pet Shelters

❖ Understand the role of an Emergency/Disaster Pet Shelter Level 1 Volunteer

❖Learn how to assist the Owners with the safety and security of their Pets

❖ Satisfactorily complete the Level 1 training quiz
